Pedestrian and Motorcyclist Killed in Killeen Accident on Interstate 14

Killeen, Texas (December 22, 2019) – A pedestrian and a motorcyclist were killed in a traffic accident early Saturday morning in Killeen, according to the police.

The fatal crash occurred around 3:37 a.m. December 21, on westbound Interstate 14 near the Fort Hood Street ramp.

Police said a pedestrian was walking in the outside lane of I-14 when they were hit by a westbound 2009 Harley-Davidson Street Glide motorcycle.

The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene.

The motorcyclist was taken to Carl R. Darnall Medical Center where he later died.

Officers said weather conditions were foggy and the roadway was wet at the time of the crash.

The Killeen Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating the accident.
