Man Seriously Injured in Killeen Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Old FM 440 Road; Norlan Ricardo Perez-Corrales Arrested

Killeen, Texas (March 27, 2020) – According to the police, the suspect who was involved in a hit-and-run accident that left a man seriously injured last month in Killeen has been arrested.

The accident was reported around 10:53 p.m. February 26, in the 1100 block of Old Farm to Market Road 440.

According to a preliminary investigation, the man was walking in the roadway when he was hit by a northbound white two-tone Ford F250 or 350 pickup truck.

The driver of the Ford fled the scene.

The man was found lying in the roadway and was taken to Baylor Scott & White in critical condition.

The driver, Norlan Ricardo Perez-Corrales, was later arrested and was charged with Accident Involving Serious Bodily Injury – Fail to Stop and Render Aid. His bond was set at $200,000. Perez-Corrales and is being held at the McClennan County Jail.

The police are investigating the crash.
