Pedestrian Hospitalized after Oak Cliff Train Accident at 8th & Corinth Station

Dallas, Texas (July 22, 2019) – A pedestrian was hit by a DART train Monday morning in the Oak Cliff neighborhood, according to a local news source.

The accident took place shortly before 10:30 a.m. in the area of 8th & Corinth Station.

Officials said the person was attempting to cross the tracks when they were hit by a passing Red Line train.

The victim was taken Methodist Dallas Medical Center in unknown condition.

An investigation is ongoing.
