7-Year-Old Girl Seriously Injured in Navarro County Pedestrian Accident on CR-4160

Navarro County, Texas (June 13, 2019) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle Monday in Navarro County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The accident happened at an unspecified time on Monday, June 10, on CR-4160.

DPS officials said a 7-year-old girl was hit by an older-modelled white SUV that was traveling on the roadway.

The child suffered major injuries and was transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital.

The driver of the vehicle involved did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. The suspected’s vehicle was described as Chevy Trailblazer with right-side damage.

No other details regarding the hit-and-run suspected were immediately provided. Authorities are investigating the accident.
