Man Seriously Injured in Abilene Pedestrian Accident at S. 1st Street and Mockingbird Lane

Abilene, Texas (June 5, 2019) – A man was hospitalized Tuesday night after being hit by a vehicle in Abilene, according to police.

The accident occurred at about 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 4 near the intersection of S. 1st and Mockingbird Lane.

Police said the pedestrian was on the roadway when for an unknown reason, he was struck by a vehicle of unspecified type and built.

The man sustained major injuries and was transported to a hospital. His name and condition at this time were not disclosed.

The crash remains under investigation by the Abilene Police Department’s traffic division.
