One Killed in Fort Worth Pedestrian Accident at West Loop 820 South Freeway and Chapin Road

Fort Worth, Texas (March 12, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Wednesday night in far west Fort Worth, according to the authorities.

The deadly accident occurred at about 9:15 p.m. on March 11, at the intersection of West Loop 820 South Freeway and Chapin Road.

Police said the pedestrian was struck by an SUV at the intersection.

The driver stopped and called 911 after the accident.

The victim was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.

No further details regarding the accident were available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
