Pedro Isias Mares Flores Killed in Edinburg Pedestrian Accident on FM 1423 and Wisconsin Drive

Edinburg, Texas (November 30, 2020) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident Thursday evening in Edinburg, according to the Texas DPS.

The deadly accident happened around 6:00 p.m., November 26, on FM 1423 and Wisconsin Drive.

According to a preliminary investigation, Pedro Isias Mares Flores, 28, was walking westbound on FM 1423 and was attempting to cross the roadway when he was struck by a southbound black GMC SUV.

Flores was taken to Doctor’s Hospital at Renaissance, where he later died.

The SUV driver was uninjured in the accident.

The Texas DPS is investigating the crash.
