89-Year-Old Perry McKee Killed in Texarkana Pedestrian Accident on Moores Lane at Richmond

Texarkana, Texas (January 30, 2020) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident Wednesday evening in Texarkana, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened on Wednesday, January 29, on Moores Lane at Richmond.

Police said Perry McKee, 89, of Texarkana, TX, was crossing Moores Lane on foot from the Walmart shopping center parking lot. He walked into the path of a westbound 2014 Nissan Altima driven by Lakota Johnson, 23, of Texarkana AR, and was hit.

McKee was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
