One Killed in East Austin Pedestrian Accident on Airport Boulevard near Springdale Road

Austin, Texas (October 20, 2020) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident Monday night in East Austin, according to officials.

The deadly accident happened around 8:00 p.m., October 19, in the 1100 block of Airport Boulevard near Springdale Road.

Officials said an adult pedestrian was struck by a car, for unknown reasons, on the roadway.

The victim was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.

An investigation is underway.

No other information was provided.
