1 Dies in Shallowater Pedestrian Crash near Highway 84 and FM 179

Shallowater, Texas (April 22, 2019) – One person was killed in an auto-pedestrian collision near Shallowater on Sunday night.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision occurred on Sunday, April 21, near Highway 84 and FM 179.
Details under which the crash took place were not immediately available.
Emergency crews responded and rushed the victim to UMC with major injuries. The victim, whose identity was not immediately released, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The DPS is investigating the collision.
