Phillip Poor Seriously Injured in Brownwood Motorcycle Accident on Austin Avenue

Brownwood, Texas (January 27, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Monday evening in a traffic accident in Brownwood, according to police.

The crash happened just before 5:00 p.m., January 25, in the 1200 block of Austin Avenue.

Police said Phillip Poor, 50, of Brownwood, was riding a motorcycle when he collided with a Chevrolet Suburban that turned in front of him.

Poor was airlifted to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth with severe leg injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
