Quinyonna Janell Richard Killed in Carrollton Pedestrian Crash on Sam Rayburn Tollway

Carrollton, Texas (March 6, 2023) – A woman was fatally hit by multiple vehicles Saturday morning in Carrollton, according to the Texas DPS.

The deadly accident happened shortly before 10:00 p.m., March 4, on Sam Rayburn Tollway, near the Hebron Parkway exit.

DPS said Quinyonna Janell Richard, 30, from Dallas, was walking on the northbound lanes of the tollway when she was struck by a 2019 Nissan Titan. Multiple other vehicles also struck Richard.

Richard was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Nissan driver was uninjured in the crash and remained at the scene. It is unclear if any other involved drivers remained at the scene after the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
