Randale Lackey ID’d as Man Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 10 West and Callaghan

San Antonio, Texas (January 23, 2019) – The man who was struck and killed by a motorcycle on Monday night in San Antonio has been identified as Randale Bagby Lackey, 59, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office
The deadly crash happened shortly before 11:30 p.m. January 21, on Interstate 10 West and Callaghan.
Police said Lackey was driving on I-10 when he experienced a mechanical problem. He then got out to check on his truck and was struck by a motorcycle.
According to the report, Lackey was then struck by other oncoming vehicles. He was declared dead at the scene.
The motorcyclist was transported to a hospital and is expected to recover.
The police are investigating the crash.
