Raul Linares Killed in Laredo Motorcycle Crash on Fleming at University Boulevard

Laredo, Texas (April 3, 2022) – A motorcyclist was killed Friday night in a head-on collision in Laredo, according to the police.

The deadly crash happened around 6:00 p.m., April 1, in the 20000 block of NE Loop 20 at Fleming.

Police said a Ford F-250 was traveling on Fleming facing northbound at a stop sign and was about to turn westbound on University Boulevard when it struck a motorcycle.

Both male patients involved in the collision had to be extricated from their vehicles. They were taken to Doctors Hospital, where the Ford driver was listed in critical condition.

The motorcyclist, Raul Linares, 36, was killed in the crash.

The LPD Crash Team and Crimes Against Persons Investigators are conducting the investigation.
