Raul Ramos, Abigail Ramos, and Lilith Ramos Killed in Falls County Two-Vehicle Crash on US 77

Falls County, Texas (August 11, 2022) – According to the Texas DPS, a young couple and their 3-year-old daughter were killed on Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash in Falls County.

The fatal crash happened around 2:10 p.m., August 9, on US 77, 0.7 miles south of Burlington.

DPS said a 2021 Freightliner driven by a 32-year-old Houston man was traveling southbound on the highway while a 2005 Toyota Corolla driven by 24-year-old Raul Julian Ramos of Waco, Texas, was traveling northbound.

The Toyota crossed onto the right improved shoulder, leaving the right side of the vehicle off the edge of the roadway, and was struck by the Freightliner.

The impact pushed both vehicles into the westbound side of the roadway, where the Toyota became fully engulfed in flames.

Ramos and his wife, 24-year-old Abigail Marie Ramos, and their 3-year-old daughter, Lilith Ramos, also from Waco, Texas, were pronounced dead at the scene.

No other details were available.

The crash remains under investigation.
