Ray Rios Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 146 and Alexander Drive in Baytown

20-Year-Old Ray Rios Injured in Baytown Pedestrian Accident on Highway 146 and Alexander Drive

Baytown, Texas (February 18, 2020) – A man was injured in a hit-and-run crash Saturday morning in Baytown, according to a local news source.

The accident took place around 11:00 a.m. February 15, in the area of Highway 146 and Alexander Drive.

Authorities said 20-year-old Ray Rios was fixing his truck on the side of the road when he was hit by another truck.

According to a witness, a tan four-door truck occupied by two men hit Rios and then fled the scene.

Ray managed to drive to his parents’ home, where the parents called paramedics.

Rios was taken to Clear Lake Regional Hospital, where he was treated for several broken bones and severe road rash. He has since been released from the hospital and is recovering at home.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information about the crash or the hit-and-run vehicle is asked to call the Baytown Police Department.
