Reggie Stamps and Kerwin Royce Kilgore Killed in Killeen Accident on Interstate 14

Killeen, Texas (December 22, 2019) – A pedestrian and a motorcyclist were killed in a traffic accident early Saturday morning in Killeen, according to the police.

The fatal crash occurred around 3:37 a.m. December 21, on westbound Interstate 14 near the Fort Hood Street ramp.

Police said 43-year-old Reggie Stamps was walking in the outside lane of I-14 when he was hit by a westbound 2009 Harley-Davidson Street Glide motorcycle ridden by 53-year-old Kerwin Royce Kilgore.

Stamps was declared dead at the scene.

Kilgore was taken to Carl R. Darnall Medical Center where he later died.

Officers said weather conditions were foggy and the roadway was wet at the time of the crash.

The Killeen Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating the accident.
