Jose Renteria Killed in Crash on I-635 near North Gross Road in Mesquite
Mesquite, TX. - A 36-year-old man died following a rear-end crash on Wednesday morning in Mesquite.
According to the Mesquite Police Department, the crash occurred on I-635 near North Gross Road at around 3:17 a.m.
Jose Aguilar Renteria was driving an Alfa Romeo sedan northbound on I-635 when he slammed into the trailer of an 18-wheeler driven by Ulises Mendez Hernandez, 30.
Paramedics pronounced Renteria dead at the accident scene.
Hernandez was arrested and charged with DUI.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating.
