Rex Bryan Dies after 3-Vehicle Crash on Highway 190 in Jasper County

Rex Bryan Killed in Jasper County Car Accident on Highway 190 near FM 777

Jasper County, Texas (February 1, 2019) – A man died of injuries sustained in a fiery three-vehicle collision in Jasper County on Sunday afternoon, according to the DPS.
The crash took place at about 4:30 p.m. January 27 on U.S. Highway 190.
DPS said Rex Bryan, 67, of Jasper was driving a 2001 Dodge Ram pickup northbound on FM 777 when he pulled into the intersection and collided with a 2007 Chrysler SUV, driven eastbound on Highway 190 by Carrie Wilburn, 45, of Colmesneil.
The Dodge was then hit by a 2014 Dodge Durango SUV operated by Jerri Moore, 32, of Orange.
Bryan was airlifted to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, where he succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday, January 30.
DPS said seven other people were hurt in the crash.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
