Richard Trevino Killed, Christopher Flores and Mayra Mendoza Injured in Odessa Two-Vehicle Crash on Faudree Road 

Odessa, Texas (April 5, 2022) – One person was killed, and two others were injured Saturday night in a two-vehicle crash in Odessa, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 10:30 p.m., April 2, in the 6800 block of Faudree Road.

Authorities said a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling northbound and was passing in a no-passing zone when it collided head-on with a southbound Ram 2500.

The Silverado driver, 32-year-old Richard Trevino of Odessa, was taken to Medical Center Hospital, where he later died.

The Ram driver, 45-year-old Christopher Flores of Odessa, and passenger, 37-year-old Mayra Mendoza of Odessa, were taken to Medical Center Hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
