Ricky Rojas Jr. Killed in La Marque Pedestrian Accident on Main Street

La Marque, Texas (March 10, 2021) – The 14-year-old boy who was fatally hit by a vehicle on Friday in La Marque has been identified as Ricky Rojas Jr., according to authorities.

The deadly accident happened on March 5, near the 500 block of Main Street.

According to family, Rojas Jr. was walking to the store with two friends when he was hit by a car on the street. One of the friends, Damion Escobar, was also hit by the car but was able to stand after the accident.

Escobar said Rojas Jr. was able to push him out of harm’s way.

Rojas Jr. was killed in the crash.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
