Road Construction Worker Killed in Harris County Pedestrian Accident on Crosby Freeway

Harris County, Texas (March 7, 2020) – A road construction worker was fatally hit by a car Friday morning in northeast Harris County, according to the deputies.

The deadly accident happened before noon, March 6, in the 13700 block of the Crosby Freeway near the east Sam Houston Tollway.

Deputies said the worker was putting out safety cones on the freeway entrance ramp when a woman lost control of her vehicle and hit him.

The worker was killed in the accident. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed.

An investigation is underway.
