Robert Hawkins Killed in Spring Two-Vehicle Crash on Kuykendahl Road

Spring, Texas (January 30, 2023) – One person was killed Sunday night in a head-on collision in Spring, according to the deputies.

The fatal crash happened around 8:18 p.m., January 29, in the 19400 block of Kuykendahl Road.

Deputies said Robert Charles Hawkins was driving a black Ford Ranger pickup truck northbound while a man was driving a red Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup truck southbound.

Hawkins crossed over the center median into the southbound lanes, where he collided head-on with the Silverado.

Hawkins was killed in the crash.

The Silverado driver and his female passenger were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, where they were treated and released.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the crash.
