Roberto Enriquez Killed in Midland Pedestrian Accident on South Midkiff near Wall Street

Midland, Texas (May 10, 2021) – A man was fatally hit by a garbage truck early Monday morning in Midland, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 6:20 a.m., in the 900 block of South Midkiff near Wall Street.

Police said Roberto Enriquez, 64, walked into the street and was struck by a 2016 Peterbilt trash truck owned by a private disposal company.

Enriquez was killed in the crash.

The accident closed northbound and southbound Midkiff at Wall Street.

Motorists were urged to seek alternate routes.

The police are investigating the crash.
