Roger Bocanegra ID’d as Man Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Loop 410 near Valley Hi Drive

San Antonio, Texas (June 24, 2019) – The man who was killed in a pedestrian accident early Sunday morning in San Antonio has been identified as Roger Bocanegra,30, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened at about 12:16 a.m. June 23, on Loop 410 near Valley Hi Drive.

Police said Bocanegra was walking across the highway when he was hit by a pickup truck.

The pickup driver panicked and instead of stopping, he went home and told someone in the house. That person called the police, who came and picked up the driver from the home and took him back to the scene.

Bocanegra was pronounced dead at the scene.

The pickup driver is facing a failure to stop and render aid charge along with other possible charges.

The police are investigating the crash.
