Ryan Soto Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on SE Loop 410

San Antonio, Texas (October 22, 2021) – The man who was killed Saturday night in a fiery two-vehicle crash in San Antonio’s South Side has been identified as Ryan Jacob Soto, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 11:50 p.m., October 16, in the 10300 block of SE Loop 410, near Roosevelt Avenue.

Police said Soto was driving a Ford Fusion eastbound when an 18-wheeler on the right shoulder began to merge into his lane.

Soto then rear-ended the trailer. The force of the impact caused both vehicles to catch fire.

Soto was trapped in his vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
