Salvador Palafox Killed in Fort Worth Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 35W (North Freeway)

Fort Worth, Texas (January 30, 2020) – A man was struck and killed by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon in Fort Worth, according to the police.

The accident happened at about 2:55 p.m. on January 28, in the 7400 block of North Freeway near Basswood Boulevard.

Police said Salvador Palafox, 66, was standing outside his car on a service road along the freeway when he was hit by a passing vehicle.

Palafox was pronounced dead at the scene.

It’s unclear if the driver of the vehicle that hit Palafox remained at the scene.

The Fort Worth police are investigating the crash.
