Scooter Rider Seriously Injured in Austin Crash on East Riverside Drive and Newning Street

Austin, Texas (July 23, 2022) – A scooter rider was seriously after being struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning in Austin, according to a local news source.

The crash happened shortly before 2:00 a.m. in the area of East Riverside Drive and Newning Street.

Authorities said the person was hit by a car after falling off their scooter.

The victim sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital. The patient is expected to recover.
