At Least Five Injured in Houston Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 45

Houston, Texas (January 10, 2023) – Several people were injured Monday afternoon in two multi-vehicle crashes in Houston, according to officials.

The first crash was reported around 1:20 p.m., and the other crash happened around 1:37 p.m., on the North Freeway at SH 249 Mount Houston Road.

Officials said multiple vehicles, including an SUV, a minivan, an 18-wheeler, and an RV, were involved in the crash.

At least five people were taken to the hospital for treatment. One of the victims had a broken nose.

The crash remains under investigation.
