Multiple Injured in Waco Crash at West Lakeshore Drive and Hillcrest Drive

Waco, Texas (January 11, 2023) – Several people were hospitalized after a Monday evening crash at a Waco intersection, according to authorities.

The wreck, involving two vehicles, was reported just after 6:00 p.m. Monday, January 9, at the intersection of West Lakeshore Drive and Hillcrest Drive.

Authorities said one vehicle struck the other car on the passenger side.

The car had five occupants. Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated one adult in the front passenger seat and one adult in the rear passenger seat.

Two infants were in the back seat of the car and were removed by passersby before rescue units arrived. There was only one occupant in the other car.

No further details were provided.
