Shamsuddin Jooma Killed, 17-Year-Old Son Injured in Carrollton Two-Vehicle Crash at West Rosemeade Parkway and Greenway Park Drive
Carrollton, Texas (July 25, 2020) – A father was killed, and his son was injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday morning in Carrollton, according to police.
The fatal crash occurred at about 8:00 a.m., July 24, at the intersection of West Rosemeade Parkway and Greenway Park Drive.
Police said a Camaro was allegedly speeding on Rosemeade Parkway when it struck an SUV.
The SUV driver, 67-year-old Shamsuddin Jooma, was pronounced dead at the scene. His 17-year-old son was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The Camaro driver, a 39-year-old, was not seriously injured in the crash and cooperated with investigators.
The police are investigating the crash.
