Shelbi Stephens Killed in Three-Vehicle Crash on Dallas North Tollway in Dallas

Shelbi Stephens Identified as Woman Killed in Dallas Car Accident on Dallas North Tollway

Dallas, Texas (April 14, 2019) – The woman who died in a multi-vehicle wrong-way crash that happened early Saturday morning in Dallas has been identified as Shelbi Stephens, 23, according to a local news source.
The crash occurred at about 2:20 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, on the Dallas North Tollway near the Maple Avenue overpass.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the driver of a Cadillac CTS was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of the tollway and collided with a Chevrolet Impala and a Nissan Altima.
Stephens was an occupant of the Chevrolet at the time of the collision. DPS said Stephens was pronounced dead at the scene.
The report showed that the four occupants of the Nissan and the Cadillac driver were all taken to Parkland Hospital with serious injuries.
The Cadillac driver was not seriously injured and was not hospitalized.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
