Shelli Hodges Seriously Injured in Clay County Crash at FM 174 and Brock Road

Clay County, Texas (August 17, 2022) – Shelli Hodges was injured after she was involved in a deadly car crash Monday afternoon in Clay County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash happened at about 1:15 p.m. Monday, August 15 in the area of FM 174 and Brock Road.

The DPS said a Honda collided head-on with a Jeep.

Ashley Michele Altum, 36, of Graham, and Kerry Allen Hodges, 43, of Henrietta were pronounced dead at the scene. Kerry’s wife Shelli Hodges, who was in the vehicle was airlifted to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth with serious injuries.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
