Sheradon Royce Carter and Kristi Marie Holden Injured in Rusk County Plane Crash near Airport

Rusk County, Texas (September 8, 2020) – The two people who were injured in a plane crash Saturday afternoon in Rusk County have been identified as Sheradon Royce Carter, 56, of Sumner and Kristi Marie Holden, 36, of Paris, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash happened around 3:00 p.m., September 5, near the Rusk County Airport.

DPS said the single-engine aircraft had just taken off from the airport when it crashed into a tree line.

The pilot, Carter, and his passenger, Holden, were taken to UT Health and were listed in stable condition.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
