Sherry Robinson Killed in Amarillo UTV Crash at SL 335 and Farmers Avenue

Amarillo, Texas (October 10, 2020) – One person was killed Thursday afternoon in a traffic collision in southeast Amarillo, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 4:30 p.m., October 8, at the intersection of SL 335 and Farmers Avenue.

DPS said a UTV was heading westbound on Farmers Avenue when it failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and was hit by a vehicle.

The driver of the UTV, Sherry Robinson, 69, of Amarillo, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle was uninjured in the crash.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
