Skateboarder Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Montgomery Road in NW Harris County

Man Killed in NW Harris County Pedestrian Accident on W. Montgomery Road

Harris County, Texas (July 14, 2020) – A man on a skateboard was killed Monday night in a hit-and-run crash in northwest Harris County, according to authorities.

The fatal crash was reported around 1:45 p.m. on July 13, in the 11700 block of W. Montgomery Road.

Authorities said the young man was riding his skateboard when he was struck by an unidentified vehicle.

The driver fled the scene without rendering aid.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Investigators said the area where the accident occurred is poorly lit, and there are no sidewalks.

An investigation is ongoing.
