Stephan Nipper Killed in Smith County Pedestrian Accident on SH 155

Smith County, Texas (April 30, 2021) – According to the Texas DPS, a person was killed Thursday morning in a pedestrian accident in Smith County.

The deadly accident occurred on April 29, on State Highway 155.

DPS said Stephan Ernest Nipper, 41, of Muncie, Indiana, was walking in the roadway when he was struck by a 2007 Ford F-450 driven by Mitchell Euwins, 37, of Longview.

Nipper was pronounced dead at the scene.

Euwins was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
