Child Hospitalized after Abilene School Bus Crash on Highway 31

Abilene, Texas (October 10, 2019) – A student was injured in a school bus crash Thursday morning in Abilene, a local news source reported.

The crash happened around 6:45 a.m. on Highway 31.

Officials said a truck struck an Axtell ISD bus on the highway.

One student was taken to the hospital with minor injuries by the parents.

The crash remains under investigation.
