Tarrant County Constable Injured in Fort Worth Car Crash at East Seventh and Jones Street

Fort Worth, Texas (September 30, 2019) – An off-duty Tarrant County constable was injured in a hit-and-run crash early Monday morning in downtown Fort Worth, according to the authorities.

The crash took place around 1:45 a.m. at the intersection of East Seventh and Jones Street.

Authorities said a driver hit an off-duty Tarrant County constable’s personal vehicle at the intersection and then fled the scene.

The constable sustained neck pain.

Police have a license plate for the vehicle that left the scene.

An investigation is underway.
