16-Year-Old Critically Injured in Falls County Train Crash on CR 116 near SH 6
Falls County, Texas (August 26, 2020) – A 16-year-old driver was critically injured Wednesday morning in a train collision in Falls County, according to the Texas DPS.
The crash happened around 7:00 a.m. on County Road 116, near State Highway 6.
Deputies said the teenager was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe and was attempting to cross the train tracks when he was struck by a train.
The Tahoe driver was airlifted to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
