Terrel Dopson Killed in Gladewater Pedestrian Crash on Highway 271 South

Gladewater, Texas (July 31, 2019) – A person was killed in a suspected hit-and-run accident that happened early Saturday morning in Gladewater.

According to the Gladewater Police Department, the crash was reported at around 2 a.m. Saturday, July 27, on Highway 271 South.

Police said officers found the victim in the area but the apparent hit-and-run driver and vehicle were not located.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. He was later identified as Terrel Dopson  of Henderson.

The Gladewater Police Department is conducting an investigation into the incident.
