Thomas Earl Stoker Killed in Naples Motorcycle Crash on WL Doc Dodson Boulevard

Naples, Texas (August 17, 2020) – A man was killed Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in Naples, according to police.

The fatal crash happened at about 1:55 p.m., August 15, in the 500 block of WL Doc Dodson Boulevard.

According to a preliminary investigation, Thomas Earl Stoker, 63, of Daingerfield, was riding a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound when he made a U-turn and was struck by a westbound 2015 Ford pickup truck driven by Richard Heath Gilbert, 35, of Douglasville.

Stoker was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gilbert was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
