Three Injured in Waco Three-Vehicle Crash near Erath and New Road

Waco, Texas (August 5, 2020) – Three people were injured in a three-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Waco, a local news source reported.

The crash was reported shortly before 10:00 p.m., August 4, near the intersection of Erath and New Road.

According to the report, the crash involved a Chevrolet Tahoe with three occupants, a red Toyota Prius with one occupant, and a white sedan with two occupants.

The hatchback caught fire after the collision while the white sedan and the red hatchback were badly mangled.

Firefighters had to use Jaws of Life to extricate a man from the hatchback. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A woman who was riding in the white sedan sustained serious injuries.

A woman in the Tahoe sustained minor injuries.

No other details were provided.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
