Three Injured in Car Crash on I-10 and Ackerman in San Antonio

3 Women Hospitalized After San Antonio Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-10 and Ackerman

San Antonio, Texas (August 24, 2020) – Three women were injured in a multi-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in San Antonio’s East Side, according to police.

The crash occurred around 12:50 a.m., August 23, on I-10 and Ackerman.

Police said a female driver called one of her family members for help after a car crash. When the family member arrived at the scene, she parked behind the last vehicle that was involved in the crash.

The family member then got out of her vehicle and went to remove tools from her truck, and that’s when another vehicle rear-ended her vehicle.

The family member was taken to the Brooke Army Medical Center in critical condition.

Two other women involved in the crash were taken to Northeast Baptist Hospital in stable condition.

The driver that rear-ended the family member’s car is facing a possible DWI charge.

The crash remains under investigation.

We hope the injured victims recover quickly.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
