Tina King Killed in Houston Pedestrian Crash on Beaumont Highway

Houston, Texas (October 16, 2020) – A pedestrian was killed early Friday morning in a hit-and-run crash in Houston, according to deputies.

The deadly accident was reported around 2:30 a.m., in the 19500 block of Beaumont Highway.

Deputies said Tina King was crossing the highway when she was struck by a westbound tan or gold 2007 to 2011 Toyota Camry.

The involved driver fled the scene after the crash heading westbound on the highway.

King was taken to Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

No other information was provided.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
