The deadly accident happened around 11:00 a.m., on U.S 281, north of Marble Falls.

Ehrlich was ejected and was taken to Seton Highland Lakes in Burnet, where he was pronounced dead.

The authorities are investigating the crash.

Most motorcycle crashes are caused by negligent drivers who don’t keep a proper lookout or fail to yield the right-of-way. Because motorcyclists are vulnerable, their injuries are usually severe, often suffering from road rash, broken bones, brain injuries, amputations, or spinal cord injuries. In some cases the accident results in death.
