Tomas Saenz ID’d as Pedestrian Killed in El Paso Crash on Dyer

El Paso, Texas (June 22, 2019) – Tomas M. Saenz, 74, has been identified as the pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle Thursday night in El Paso.

The tragic accident occurred at around 9:16 p.m. Thursday, June 20 on Dyer.

According to the police, Saenz was crossing east to west when a 2014 Nissan Murano struck him.

Saenz was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The 60-year-old driver reportedly stopped at the scene and rendered aid to the victim.

The accident remains under investigation.
