Travell “Black Magic” Mazion Killed in Austin Multi-Vehicle Crash on FM 1431

Austin, Texas (July 16, 2020) – One person was killed, and two others were injured Wednesday night in a multi-vehicle crash in Austin, a local news source reported.

The crash was reported around 9:34 p.m. July 15, in the 18000 block of FM 1431, just outside of Leander.

According to the report, multiple vehicles were involved in the pin-in collision.

Travell ‘Black Magic’ Mazion, 24, was declared dead at the scene. He was a rising Junior Middleweight and was unbeaten with a 17-0 record. He was just nine days shy of his 25th birthday at the time of the crash.

One other person, an adult, was taken to Round Rock Medical Center by ground ambulance with serious potentially life-threatening injuries. Another adult was airlifted to Round Rock Medical Center with critical life-threatening injuries.

No other details were available.

The crash remains under investigation.
