Travis Moore Killed, 2 Injured in Montague County Car Crash on FM 1125 near Miller Road
Montague County, Texas (February 23, 2019) – One person was killed, and two others were injured Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Montague County, according to the Department of Public Safety.
The fatal crash happened at about 7:40 a.m. February 22, on FM 1125 near Miller Road.
DPS said a mini-van with three occupants failed to yield right-of-way and pulled out in front of an oncoming northbound pickup truck.
The pickup then struck the passenger side of the van.
Travis Leon Moore, 61, of Bowie, who was seated in the passenger side of the van, was taken to the Central Hospital where he later died.
The other two people in the van sustained minor injuries in the crash.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
