Two Firefighters Injured in Houston Ambulance Crash on Bellaire Boulevard near Bintliff Drive

Houston, Texas (November 22, 2020) – Two firefighters were injured on Sunday in an ambulance crash in Houston, according to police.

The crash happened in the 6900 block of Bellaire Boulevard near Bintliff Drive in front of HFD Station 51.

Police said a Houston Fire Department ambulance was returning from a call and was backing into the fire station when it was struck by an SUV.

Two firefighters were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Officers said the SUV driver might have been impaired at the time of the crash and was taken into custody.

The crash remains under investigation.
